Mafalous Friend (aka Nugget) is a 27 year old, Thoroughbred mare. Nugget was donated by her generous owner who lovingly donated her when she realized she could no longer care for her due to her terminal illness. Nugget is the mother of Hero's Crown, another permanent resident who arrived with Nugget. Nugget is a Texas bred mare who is unraced. She has never known a bad day and has been well cared for all of her life. Her sire is Marfa and her pedigre includes Bold Ruler, Raise a Native and Nasrullah. She enjoys visitors and living with her best friend, Be Bop Baby.
