King Of Speed is a 12 year old gelding who recently retired from racing, SOUND. He raced 111 times, winning his 100 career start and had a total of 27 wins and over a half million dollars in earnings during his career. Photos by Terri Cage Photography
All of these photos were taken on Kings very first day of retraining. He was given a few months off by his owner after his last race and just arrived at RMR. Donna Keen was excited to start King but quickly found out that he wasn't easily startled by anything. He quickly went through every obstacle that was presented to him. King would be a very good mounted patrol or search and rescue mount. Since he retired 100% sound he could do just about anything you ask of him, (except race, lol).

We are looking for a very special home for this VERY SPECIAL horse.
We plan on taking some extra time with King and make sure he gets a home where he can continue to show people how cool retired racehorses can be!!!
