Remember Me Rescue is a Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Accredited 501(c)3 organization specializing in rehabilitating, retraining and rehoming retired racehorses.
Lady Charlie's Boy is a 22 year old bay thoroughbred gelding. He was originally adopted from us in 2013. He competed in our Battle of the X's and was 2nd place is Western Dressage. He was adopted after the show by his trainer who returned him to RMR in December 2021.
Charlie is still sound and enjoys his grooming time. He will stand all day to be brushed and braided. He is currently being ridden once or twice a week and is a total doll. He would be perfect for a person who has a soft spot for these older horses and would give him a great place to live out his days with a family.
Charlie gets along very well in the herd. He is an easy keeper and has no need for any special feed or supplements at this time.
When Charlie was returned we had his teeth done, caught him up on all of his vaccines and pulled a new coggins. He is ready for his new home.
